If it’s pontoon grill accessories you need, then I’ve got just the things for you that will make your meal that much easier (and tastier!) plus make the eating experience more memorable than ever before.

Handy Hint: If you don’t already own a pontoon grill, click here to read my top 5 grill reviews.

1: Remote & Wireless Grill Thermometer

First up on my list is a remote meat thermometer. It’s an essential accessory for so many different reasons. For a start, and most obviously, you want to make sure that anything you grill is cooked well enough to eat so you don’t get any casualties!

But secondly, you know what it’s like when you’re out on your pontoon… there are distractions aplenty. It could be that you are the captain, and the cook, and you can’t always be in two places at once.

With this wireless remote thermometer, you can actively monitor the cooking progress of any chicken, fish, steak, chops, or fillets whilst sitting at the helm or perhaps enjoying a spot of fishing off the side of the pontoon.

Just set a pre-set time, or heating target you want to the meat to reach, sit back, relax, grab a beer, and hear that little alarm go off once everything is grilled to perfection.

2: Stingray 7 in 1 BBQ Tool

If you’re like me, and always want to use the best tools for the job, then you are going to love the Stingray 7 in 1 BBQ tool accessory. It lets you use a different tool depending on what meat you are grilling on board.

For example, if you are grilling up delicate fish fillets, they will break apart if you use tongs. Instead use the spatula to flip the fish that comes with the Stingray BBQ tool. Similarly, your burgers should be turned over with tongs, and chicken breasts typically demand being stabbed with a fork.

All of these 3 different functions and more come with the Stingray 7 in 1 tool, so go check it out on Amazon now. It’s the Swiss Army knife equivalent of a grill tool, and even comes with a bottle opener to open your beers with! A truly essential grill accessory for any person who has been lucky enough to be put on the pontoon boat grill duties!

3: Zeust Capella Barbecue Grill Light

Some of my best pontoon BBQ meals have come late into the night and after dark. That’s all well and good, but it does make grilling that touch more difficult if you don’t have adequate lighting on deck.

This awesome little pontoon grill accessory is just the answer as it’s a portable grill light that you simply clamp or magnetize to the side of your pontoon rail, letting you bask your grill in a light so you actually see what you are doing after night falls.

It literally could be a lifesaver, as cooking meat in the dark can very quickly lead to potentially dangerous meal. Just consider the consequences of having undercooked meat and food poisoning on a pontoon boat… these two things are definitely not a good combination.

I’ve got one, I love it, and also use it back at home when having our outdoor movie nights and BBQ events – go take a look on Amazon.

4: Grillux Grill Basket

If you have never seen one before, then you aren’t alone. I hadn’t seen this gadget accessory until I went on a friend’s pontoon boat last summer, but once I saw it, I had to have it.

It’s a simple premise, as all it does is let you grill and cook the foods that would normally stick to the grills or slip through the bars. It’s perfect for grilling up things like vegetables, shrimps, or delicate fish. Previously I had used foil to achieve the very same result, but the foil used to get ripped, and would also stick to the grill which made cleaning up after the meal really annoying and time consuming.

As a pontoon boat grilling accessory, I put it up there as one of my most valued items and wouldn’t now do without it. If you want to buy one, as per usual head on over to Amazon where you can see the latest prices and reviews that have been left.

5: More Affordable Digital Meat Thermometer

Perhaps having that remote-control functionality I talked about in the earlier thermometer further up the page isn’t that important to you, but the way your meat is cooked should be. If you don’t want to spend out on something with the advanced technology described above, I would still recommend a digital meat thermometer.

The GDealer one on Amazon is perfect, because it’s cheap, works well, has great reviews… and it’s waterproof, making it ideal for a pontoon boat no matter what the weather.

Just stick it into the meat cooking on the pontoon grill, check the temperature, and you will soon know when it’s ready to start serving up to the party. Go check the prices on Amazon to see if you can get a deal today.

6: Grill Daddy Pro Bristle Lock Safety Grill Brush

Pontoon grills don’t come cheap, especially the decent ones, so it makes sense to keep yours in working order and maintained after every time you use it. That means cleaning the grill every time after use… but that’s hard work isn’t it? But it’s no longer a chore if you have this grill accessory – may I present to you the Pro Bristle grill brush.

Now I appreciate that the price on this seems a little high, for what in reality is just a brush… but seriously, it works a hundred times better than a ten dollar grill brush, and will last you for years to come.

It has a unique ergonomic design which lets you apply a ton of force whilst you clean the grill, coupled with stainless steel bristles and a water reservoir to push steam over the grills to help clean them better. Yep, you heard that right, it pushes out steam to help clean the grills and bars.

Get one while you can, as they are very popular with pontooners who want to keep their grills in good condition. You can view it on Amazon and also read the impressive user reviews.

7: Grill Smoker Box

Nothing beats a piece of meat that has that amazing smoky taste, and there’s nothing to stop you getting that authentic flavor whilst out on your boat with this smoker box.

It’s stainless steel design means it won’t warp, even in the fiercest of heat and with a hinged lid, you can pop it open easily to add in more wood chips to get that flavor coming through.

This smoker box is the perfect accessory for a pontoon grill, and the perfect size too, being compatible with all of the brands on the market today.

Don’t just take my word for it though, go read the Amazon reviews to see for yourself so you can then start cooking perfectly smoked meat whilst out on the water this summer.

8: Pontoon Grill Bracket Set

It’s all very well and good having a grill, but where do you put it?

If you have it set up on the deck or on a table then just one strong wave or wake could create absolute havoc, not to mention being very dangerous. But if you use a grill bracket to mount your BBQ grill to the pontoon’s railings, you can grill much safer, and create more room in the boat for the party to get started.
