Are you a massive fan of the Wicked Tuna TV series? I am, and I love watching these guys in action. So much so, that I really want to go and see the boats from Wicked Tuna in real life, and hopefully even see if I can pay for a chartered fishing trip.

As a fan of the TV show, I should already know that it’s based in Gloucester, Massachusetts, but that’s not going to help me find them as it’s a city of over 30,000 people, surrounded by coastline.

In order to see them in real life, it means I need to know where the boats on Wicked Tuna are docked. I did some investigation, and this is what I found out.

Get Wicked Tuna Merchandise: Did you know you can buy a wide range of Wicked Tuna gear on Amazon? You can catch up on previous episodes, buy t-shirts, and much more.

Where are the boat on Wicked Tuna docked?

The boats on Wicked Tuna are docked at Cape Ann’s Marina Resort at 75 Essex Avenue, Gloucester, Massachusetts, MA 01930. From here you can see Wicked Tuna boats such as Wicked Pissah and Tuna.com docked up when not out catching bluefin tuna.

Are all the Wicked Tuna boats docked at Cape Ann’s Marina Resort?

No, they’re not actually. Here’s a list of the current docking areas for as many of the Wicked Tuna boats I could track down using tourist websites and publicly available information.

  • Hard Merchandise: boat docked behind the Gloucester House Restaurant.
  • Pinwheel: boat docked at Cape Ann’s Marina Resort.
  • Tuna.com: boat docked at Cape Ann’s Marina Resort.
  • The Bounty Hunter: boat docked at Cape Ann’s Marina Resort.
  • The Falcon: boat docked behind the Gloucester House Restaurant
  • Wicked Pissah: boat docked at Cape Ann’s Marina Resort.

You can see where Cape Ann’s Marina Resort is using the Google map below.

Is it possible to see the boats and cast at the dock?

I’ve not made my trip to see the Wicked Tuna boats docked yet but took a look on websites like Trip Advisor to see what comments people are making about their own experiences.

Here’s a sample of just some of the feedback.

“Captain Dave Marciano’s Wicked Tuna boat is docked in the Gloucester Art District. When we visited we also saw TJ’s boat too. If you want to see Tuna.com and Wicked Pissah head on to the Cape Anne Resort Marina. If you lucky enough to visit in July like we did, you might even see TJ walking around. We saw him there with his dogs out for a walk and he let us take a photo!”

“My wife and I docked at the Cape Ann Marina Resort a couple of times and managed to catch sight of a few captains and Wicked Tuna boats when there. We docked in September time so I’m guessing that might be the best time to get a glimpse of the vessels and crew members.”

“We stayed at the hotel in the Cape Ann Marina and were able to see a few of the Wicked Tuna boats from the balcony area. You can even buy Wicked Tuna merchandise in the hotel store, and this place is definitely the best area in Gloucester if you want to see the boats docked up and maybe even the famous captains!”

More about the Wicked Tuna TV show

As you have guessed, I love this TV series… so much so that I’ve created a wealth of information about the show, the boats, the captains, and the deckhands. If you want to get more secret information on the questions you want answering, check out the investigations I have made below.

The last word…

I love reality TV shows about fishing and boats. It’s pretty much all that I will ever watch.

Hopefully I will get to visit Gloucester, Massachusetts in the next few months. When I do, you can be assured that I am going to head off to where the Wicked Tuna boats are docked when not fishing and get myself some photos of any charter I manage to get on during the peak season. Bookmark my Pontoonopedia website, as those photos (and video) will be uploaded here once I’ve made the trip.
