Naming your boat as a couple is really popular and can be a really romantic gesture.
It could be that you are now financially stable and are buying your first boat. Or perhaps the kids have left home, and you have more time on your hands. It could even be a re-marriage where you’ve dropped some serious cash on a boat after a divorce settlement.
Whatever the reason for you getting a boat, one of the first challenges will be how to name it. It personally took me weeks to come up with a decent romantic boat name for our pontoon boat. I scoured the Internet and local marina for ideas and ended up creating a huge list of boat names for married couples.
The ones that my wife and I didn’t choose were left over, so I want you to take advantage of them if you’re stuck for names.
I’ve split the boat names for couples up into three different sections. I start off with a few good ones, then move onto ones I think better suit married couples, and then end on some funny with a few rude suggestions.
You might not agree with me, but at the very least I hope it gives you some great inspiration for naming your next boat!

So, if you misjudge how funny your partner, husband, or wife might find the name “Ben Dover” then please give it some serious thought beforehand and ask them what they think.
I can imagine the scenario of leading your other half down to the marina, only for him and her to see the offensive name printed on the boat and not find it all funny.

Occasionally my wife and I have a weekend off from the kids, pack our bags up, and head to the water to spend the day on our pontoon. Some of our most cherished memories have been made this way, which is why we opted to give our pontoon boat a name that expressed that to us.
The boat name for a couple that we chose hasn’t been listed on this page.
